Something That Motivate You

Have you ever write your own MISSION STATEMENT?? I sure that there is a big question mark in your mind right now. Mission statement is like a set of what you want to get or achieve in recent time, nex tweek, next moth or maybe in your next year.
The questions are : How to make ur own mission statement? What are the steps? and what should I write?
The first thing that you should do is thinking about yourself in the future. How is your appearance in the future? What you had to get? What you want to be? And after thatm, you should to do the real action to realize your own dream or ambition in your Mission Statement.
For example is my experience in recent time. I am have an ambition to be accepted as an intern in one of multinational company in Cikarang. The deadline time is before my final exam period in August 19, 2008. So I in my mission statement I add my ambition to be accepted as intern. To realize it, I started with make a good resume, and other application letters needed, and send it to the company purposed. After 5 - 7 days I start to follow up the company, to ask about my internship application and the ooprtunity of that. From 5 companies, only 1 company that give me a good respond and I invited to interview. I was so happy at that time and I notice that what I got is because I have a strong effort and I responsible to my own Mission Statement. If I do not get company to internship now, I do not think that it a fail, I see it as My Delayed Success, and I should try it harder.
The usual big problem in making your own Mission Statement is you are too much thinking and do not know what you want to write. Don't be confuse friend ! Use brainstorming method to know what you want to get, whether it is your goal in recent time or your goal in the future. Spend your 15 minutes to brainstrom your mind and write whatever mission comes to your mind. After that, reread your mission and rewrite it in 'your language', so you can easlily interpret it and implement it. For suggestion, write your mission statement with a good handwriting or typed writing, or you can also add some pictures / decorate it as you can. When you finish writes your Mission Statement, put your Mission Statement in the 'eye-catching' place for you, so you can read it every time, every day and it rooted in your mind.
Mission Statement,also, can come from notes or quotes that motivate you.
Actually, I get my idea about this Mission Statement is coming from 7 Habits For Effective Teens book by Seann Covey. If you ever read that book maybe you are already now about Mission Statement, but if you does not have anymore, I suggest you to buy / borrow and read that book. It's AMAZINg !!
